What information we collect

When you use the site you may provide us with information such as your name, phone number, email address, delivery city, conversation content, images, links, dimensions, design preferences and details relating to the product or to the space it is intended for.

In addition, basic technical information about your use of the site may be collected, such as your IP address and the general location derived from it (country and city only), the type of device and browser, the pages you visited and the actions you performed on the site.

Providing this information is voluntary. However, without certain details we may not be able to handle your request or to provide a rendering and a quote.

How we use the information

We may use the information in order to:

• Handle your enquiry and contact you
• Create a rendering and adapt the product to your request
• Assess feasibility for manufacturing
• Obtain a quote from a relevant professional
• Improve the site, the service and the user experience
• Secure the site and prevent misuse
• Comply with the requirements of the law

We will not use your details for marketing communications without appropriate consent.

Sharing information with third parties

We may share information, to the extent needed in order to handle your request, with:

• Carpenters or other relevant professionals
• Storage, cloud and technology infrastructure providers
• Providers used to create renderings and to process images
• Communication, support and site-usage analytics providers
• Advertising measurement providers (Meta), to measure how our campaigns perform
• Authorities or other parties, where disclosure of the information is required by law

Some providers may process or store information outside Israel, in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies.

Data retention and security

Information will be retained for as long as it is needed in order to handle your enquiry, to operate the service, to improve it, to protect legal rights or to comply with the requirements of the law.

We take reasonable measures to protect the information, but no online system is absolutely protected against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

Cookies, the visitor identifier and advertising measurement

We store a single technical cookie in your browser, named bnt_vid, containing nothing but a random identifier — no name, no phone number and no email address. It lets us tell that several design conversations came from the same browser, so that if you come back and design something else we see the full context instead of treating every visit as a stranger.

It is kept for up to a year and refreshed on each visit. You can delete it at any time from your browser settings — the site keeps working exactly as before, we simply will not know that you have been here.

Alongside that technical cookie, the site uses the Meta Pixel — a measurement tool from Meta (which owns Facebook and Instagram) that lets us tell which ads brought people to the site. It runs only on the live site, and it stores a Meta measurement cookie named _fbp in your browser.

Exactly three events are reported to Meta: a page view, the start of a design, and details being left. Your name, phone number, email address, the images you upload, the conversation with the carpenter and the description of your product are not sent — what is sent is that the event happened, not who you are. The page address that accompanies each event is also cleared of conversation identifiers before it is sent.

Unlike the technical cookie above, this is measurement for advertising purposes, and Meta may connect the visit to your account with them. You can limit or block it in the ad settings of your Meta account or in your browser's privacy settings — the site keeps working exactly as before.

Signing in with Google

You can — but never have to — sign in with a Google account. Signing in exists to save your design conversations so you can return to them from any device, and to let the carpenter get back to you about a quote.

When you sign in we receive your email address, name and profile picture from Google — and nothing beyond that. We have no access to your password, your contacts or any other content in your Google account.

To keep you signed in we store one more technical cookie, named bnt_auth, for up to 30 days. Signing out deletes it; the conversations you saved stay attached to your account. Continuing as a guest gets you exactly the same service.

Use of AI and processing providers

To run the conversation with the virtual carpenter and to produce renders, your conversation content and the images you upload are sent to and processed by external model providers: OpenAI and/or Anthropic (USA) for the conversation, and OpenAI and/or Google (Gemini) for the renders.

This transfer happens solely to provide the service you requested. These providers act as our data processors.

Please avoid entering sensitive personal details into the chat that are not needed for the product.

Your rights and data deletion

You may request to access the information collected about you, correct it, or request its deletion.
